If I had the opportunity to have a lunch with Albert Einstein I would ask him...
I have read that when you was young you liked mathematics, what was your favorite type of math?
What happend after you got kicked out of school?
What is your most important discovery and why?
Did you study alot when you were young?
That was a great lunch.
Well Thank You For Your Time.
Stephanie
1.- Owls eat their food whole because they don't have any teeth to chew it.
They slowly digest the soft part ( fur and meat ) from the hard part ( bones and feathers.)
The hard part is what they regurgitate or put again in its mouth. This is called an owl pellet.
Owl pellets are not the waste product from an owl because the waste product is what they digest, ( the soft part.)
2.- When I was dissecting I was looking for different kinds of bones that could help me figure out what animal the owl ate.
3.- Vole was the organism that we found most often in our owl pellets. It tells you that Barn Owls eat voles most often. We did not find any complete skeleton because owl use their mouth to rip up their pray.
4.- The primary habitat of a vole is open and dark places in the woods, forest and grass where they can be close to their food source.
Yes because its like a food web, for example, barn owls eat voles and voles eat insects and insects eat dirt and dirt absorbs sunlight.
5.- If the rodent population decreased the owls will have to find something new to eat in the biosphere and if they can't they will starve to death and dye and then the owl population will decrease too.
I think the apex predator maintains the balance of the ecosystem.
